Incremental working-age population

• By 2030, close to 1/5 of the world’s working-age population will be Indian.

• An average of 10 million Indians will join the working-age population each year until 2030 (110mn cumulative; close to the population of the Philippines).

• China’s working-age population, peaked in 2015 and is on track to decline by 27mn by 2030.
